I checked the procedure to sign up as a contributor to this blog and it proved to be quite easy. You just need to click on the link in the invitation email and that opens the browser and shows the signup page. Here you will need to create a google account using your email address and a suitable password (suggest different from usual email password). Add a display name (this will appear in the list of contributors and on your posts) and then create the account. You will then be able to post to the blog! In future, you can use this email address and password to sign in to the blog and add and edit your posts - don't forget you will find the blog at sdurhamu3a.blogspot.com and can sign in there.

Hi to 'just practicing'. Worked just fine and as you can see I read your comment. If you open a Google account of your own, using the link on the mail which you received when we first setup the blog, you will be able to post under your own name so that we all know who you are. Otherwise you could put a name or nickname at the end of your post/comment.
